Abstract Clock
Abstract Clock (2003) is an abstract visual language for expressing time — the current hours, minutes, and seconds are represented as rhythmic compositional elements. Although this visual system is presented online, it could be displayed on any screen, such as the side of a physical object (a custom physical clock, for instance), or projected on a wall. Abstract Clock was designed in Adobe Illustrator and implemented in Processing, a Java-based environment and language for prototyping interactive software. This piece can be viewed from any Java-enabled browser. [ L A U N C H A B S T R A C T C L O C K ] |
