Amy asked me to improvise a mobile portrait drawing installation for the Bang the Machine exhibition opening at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.

I made pencil drawings of gallery goers on paper, while a powerbook attached to a DV camera autonomously made digital drawings on screen. The results are presented below. This idea is based on a Portable Portrait installation that Amy and I put together in Rotterdam last winter.
